Cold therapy has become an increasingly popular method for improving one’s recovery and performance and reducing day-to-day stress and anxiety. Now, the Ice Barrel is bringing the benefits of the training room ice bath into anyone’s at-home fitness routine.

Manufactured in Ohio, USA, from 100% recycled materials, the Ice Barrel is a uniquely compact and durable cold therapy training tool. The 105-gallon capacity drum can be filled quickly with water and ice, then emptied after use via a simple built-in drainage system. At an empty weight of 55 LBS, the barrel is conveniently portable, and its unusual shape (42” tall x 31” wide w/ 25” opening) is suitable for most body types; enabling the user to sit in an upright position, which helps with mind and body focus and relaxation.

The Ice Barrel is available here in two color options, black or desert tan, and comes standard with a custom-compatible stand, lid, protective UV cover, and a step stool for safer entry into the bath.

At additional cost, customers can also opt to add an Ice Barrel Maintenance Kit to their order, which includes all of the following:

• 1-8oz bottle of water stabilizer
• 1 stainless steel mesh net
• 1 shatter resistant thermometer
• 1-6lb bag of eucalyptus epsom salt
• 1 silicone cleaning brush
• 1-16oz bottle of cleaning soap

Tips for Taking an Ice Bath:

• Keep barrel on level surface.
• Add water then ice. Start at 50 to 60 degrees F if you’re a beginner.
• Use step stool to enter the bath.
• Ideal Duration of an Ice Bath: 3-5 minutes.
• To exit, push out and step on to stool with one foot, then the other.
